Every project is final sale.
The moment you check out, a designer, a developer and a founder reserve their calendar for your business and begin original work that can’t be un-done. That’s why every Neon project is final sale, and we don’t offer refunds.
What we offer instead: if none of your five directions feel right, we’ll create a fresh round at no cost. Ask in your Design Room within 7 days of receiving your first round. And a team that doesn’t stop until you’re proud to share the link.
You confirm this twice before you pay: with a separate checkbox on our checkout, and again on Stripe’s secure payment page.
1. What you’re buying
A custom website project for $5,000 USD, paid upfront: research, messaging and copy, five original design directions (or the direction you chose from a Neon proposal), design and development of the chosen direction, search setup, analytics and launch. Volume and custom agreements cover the sites and scope described at checkout.
2. If none of the five directions feel right
Tell us in your Design Room within 7 days of receiving your first round, and we’ll create one fresh round of directions at no cost. This is offered once per project, and it is our remedy in place of a refund. Projects that start from a Neon proposal begin from a direction you have already seen, so this remedy doesn’t apply to them.
3. Timelines and your Studio Brief
Right after payment you can open a private Studio Brief to share as much or as little as you like, or simply tell us “Figure It Out, Please!”. Your five directions are due three days after you hand off your brief, or three days after the first 24 hours following payment, whichever comes first.
“Live in 14 days” is our commitment from the day you choose a direction. The clock pauses while we wait on your approvals, content or access, and resumes when we have them. A timeline that shifts is not grounds for a refund.
4. Neon Care and hosting
Neon Care is optional at $197 per month, first billed 30 days after purchase. Neon Care is also final sale. Cancel anytime before your next billing date to stop future charges; months already billed are not refunded or prorated.
Without Neon Care, we launch your website on Neon hosting and you have 30 days after launch to arrange your own hosting. We help you choose and we handle the migration. Your provider’s fees are separate.
5. Ownership
Once your project is paid, the finished website and its codebase belong to you. You confirm you have the right to share anything you upload to your Studio Brief, and you allow us to use it for your project. We may show your finished website in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
6. Payments and chargebacks
Payments are processed securely by Stripe by card or US bank account. If something isn’t right, talk to us first at our contact page; we answer every message. If a payment is disputed with your bank, we will share the records of your purchase with them, including your final-sale acknowledgement, these terms, and your project activity.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version you accepted at checkout applies to your purchase. See also our privacy notice.
