You don’t have to write the website first
A blank document can make a website project feel bigger than it is. Writing a headline, describing your offer, and deciding which pages to include are part of the work you’re hiring us to do.
Choose “Figure it out” and we lead the research, structure, copy, and visual direction. If you have existing material, it can inform the work. It isn’t a creative entrance exam.
Bring facts when facts are needed
Your exact services, service area, credentials, opening hours, and pricing are business facts. We should confirm them rather than guess. If your business has little public information, we may need a focused conversation to get those details right.
That is different from asking you to write a positioning statement or design a page layout. You know the business; we turn that knowledge into a useful website.
Choose imagery that earns its place
Real team, location, and work photography can be especially valuable for a local service business. An online business may benefit from a personal portrait and images that communicate the way it works.
Illustrative or generated imagery can help establish a visual direction, but it should not impersonate actual staff, completed projects, or client results. Our project showcases use captures of the real websites.
An imperfect starting point is still a starting point
A current website, a social profile, a short service description, or a few useful examples can provide context. Share them if they’re easy to find. You don’t need a perfectly organized folder.
The goal is to take the project off your list, then bring you clear choices. Getting started should not require finishing half the website yourself.
